Adele Kicks Off 2012 On Top
Her album 21 is the best-selling since Usher’s 2004 release Confessions, and Adele is off to a killer start in 2012.
The sophomore release has already sold more than 144,000 units in the New Year, and there’s no sign that it’s slowing down anytime soon.
Coming in at #2 is Drake’s Take Care, though it only moved 72,000 copies, and Young Jeezy’s TM 103: Hustlerz Ambition is at #3 with 67,000 units.
Rounding out the top 10 are Lady Antebellum, LMFAO, Florence and the Machine, Black Keys, Coldplay, Rihanna, and NOW That’s What I Call Music 40.
